Backyard Bible Club is a kids program created and hosted by Deer Creek Baptist Church for K - 6th graders featuring Bible lessons, games, crafts, snacks, and hands-on activities. The theme is: On a Mission for God with a new mission (Bible lesson) each week! Backyard Bible Club is on Wednesdays from June 3 - July 1 with the location rotating between host family yards and the park all throughout Deer Creek mixing between morning and evening start time to help accommodate different schedules. The final week is a soccer party at the DCBC Yard with Mission Completion certificates!

What age group is Backyard Bible Club for?

The Bible lessons, games, crafts, snacks, and hands-on activities are all designed for K-6th grade age group, but siblings (with parents staying) are welcome to join!

When and where does it meet?

Backyard Bible Club meets every Wednesday for 5 weeks: June 3 - July 1. It rotates between different host family backyards and parks each week. After registering, be sure to check your email for the location before each club meeting. Some weeks meet during the day and others meet in the evening to help fit different family schedules.

Do I have to attend every week?

No! We understand summer is a busy time, so attendance is flexible — come as often as you can! Please just do your best to let us know what date(s) you won't be able to attend during registration so we can plan accordingly.

Does my child need to be dropped off or can I stay?

We'd prefer you stay! But, if you need to drop off please let one of the leaders know.

What do we need to bring?

Dress in play clothes for activities, apply sunscreen prior to coming or wear a hat, and bring a water bottle if desired. Everything else is provided!
